During space planning I was able to learn and understand the fundamentals of optimizing the use of space. One of our first projects during the semester was to create a functional layout for an office space that already exists. Effective space planning ensures that the space is not only aesthetically pleasing but functional. The last project we developed was a residential home aging in place.
